Last night as I tucked you in, I realized I was tucking in for the last time, your childhood and all that accompanied it. I knew in he morning you would be opening those big brown eyes no longer a little girl, but beginning life's journey as a full fledged teenager...It's a bit bittersweet I must admit...but Laila I couldn't be more proud of you than I am today. You're an honor student, have a heart of gold and you've always been the most loving and nurturing of all my children. I am beyond thankful God blessed my life with you. Happy 13th birthday my beautiful girl.
